- The thinking-focused toy box
- Contains 4 educational games, suitable for ages 36 months and up
- Created in collaboration with a psychomotor specialist
A box of toys designed for babies aged 36 months and up: it’s the Janod Box! This children’s box – specifically designed to encourage thinking – contains 4 educational wooden games.
- First off is an abacus which is an ideal tool for helping children recreate constructions and understand the concept of size, thanks to the 6 double-sided model cards provided. The 3 trees are each made up of 4 pieces; this educational game requires observation and logic.
- A "Super Beaver" wooden balance game is also included for little ones: our adorable wooden beaver needs help transporting all the materials to the dam! This wooden skill game comprises 26 pieces and can be played in 2 different ways, alone or with others: choosing whether or not to rely on the die to indicate the coloured piece that needs to be stacked next. It involves thinking and using motor skills to avoid dropping everything!
- This games box also comes with a pond-themed musical toy: the pretty bells come with a reed-shaped wooden stick. Each element of this sound toy boasts a coloured dot to help little ones get to grasps with colours or logical sequences.
- Last but not least is the emotion-themed wooden puzzle: our beaver friend returns and prompts children to expand their vocabulary and better identify emotions. 4 emotions are represented (joy, sadness, fear and anger) and have a distinctive coloured background which serves as a guide for your little one.
At 3 years of age, your baby is growing and gradually developing both their cognitive and social skills. We have therefore worked closely with a psychomotor specialist to offer a box filled with educational toys that go hand in hand with the developmental pace of your toddler. As a result, these durable wooden toys are sure to stimulate their sight, hearing, vocabulary, logic and fine motor skills: learning how to grow up is key! The explanatory booklet found inside the Janod Box will help you ensure your little one makes the most of these educational games. This set of games is part of our collection of 4 age-specific boxes, which bolster the early-learning discoveries of children aged 12 to 36 months, thanks to the high-quality toys, adapted specifically to their skill level. FSC™-certified wooden and cardboard toys.
